PMANEK BIOFARMS P. LTD. was incorporated
in the year 2003, with a vision to change the agriculture pattern of the
Dwarka region. The company could foresee that the food crops would not be
able to support the requirements of the farmers in the area. Medicinal and
Aromatic crops presented an excellent opportunity to the farmers to increase
their living standards.
The seed of the company was sown by Sh. Pabubha V. Manek (MLA DWARKA - 31),
who roped in experts from various fields to address various requirement of
the whole organization.
The company has since then taken up the task of identifying potential crops
and is establishing tie ups with various companies for the supply of
standard essential oils and other medicinal crops like aloe vera, moringa
etc. The company has elaborate landholding at its disposal and can therefore
cultivate and process any quantity of crop that is required, on a long-term
basis. The company has at its disposal adequate administrative staff and
field staff to execute the orders. Besides, the company has well-established
infrastructure to deal with the production and cultivation requirements. The
company has already well established relations with the local bankers and
NABARD to help the farmers financially. The company actively seeks
collaboration with corporate looking for consistent and assured aromatic raw
material.
Vision Statement
Agriculture would be the dominating
industry in the 21st century. It would therefore be but prudent to
consolidate and venture into those areas, which are driven by scientific
value addition and exploring remunerative markets. Contract farming would
therefore be on the anvil for large-scale production and controlled quality.
